Perception of Interviewing and Selling
Some times we want to be lead or be told what to do? Wait! Is that not the same thing? Some times we like to be the one
telling someone what to do and we do not want to be a leader only a
teller. Would you rather take
action and it caused people to follow you? Thus it had created a following and you become a leader a
teller and you just ask and things are done.
What would you prefer to do?
Some of us rather do nothing but we forget there is a result
for this and that means, “you do nothing and you get nothing”. Would you rather do little to get
little or do a lot and get a lot?
I’d rather do a lot for a short time then work towards doing a little
but receiving a lot.
Two examples to look
at below one about a net-worker called politician another is a network marketer.
Person is in a
position by getting his/her name out there and sharing with a lot of people and
certain groups. Sharing what they
want to do for them, explaining along the way that he/she is going to do and their
ideas, their outlook on things is shared over time. Gaining public trust with a
lot of people and continuing to do so over the years.

Which is the politician, which is the network marketer? Could these same things be one in the
same but two different positions?
Yet could it mean the descriptions above also reflect upon being needed
for seeking a position in any company?
Would those same things be needed for an Interview? Yes to all those questions we all need those
same things to find people to help us and to help them too.
When we prepare for
an unknown company and the unknown position and there are many more
unknowns’. What do you do?

Ask anyone at any age attending elementary (primary school)
or a high school (secondary school) what company are you going to work at? What position do you want? What position do you think that you
will get?
Any school or to be precise any position we have requires
selling and interviewing. What did
I just say? Yes you read that
right but go ahead read it again.
Next I’ll share another perception of selling and interviewing.
Selling
Any position whether it is for school to be a student or to
be working in a company requires selling.
How many of you heard this before?
“Get good grades to get a good education. So that you can get a good job.” But many of us heard of this or something very much like
it. That is selling you would list
on a paper or in a word document send it via email or job portal the places we
have graduated from. Selling and the
more branded the place the more of a reputation that places has along with a
long-standing history of good students.
The better it is for you to reach that pointing of being sold. First part is sold good grades second
part graduated, third part went to branded school, another part is went to
junior college or university or vocational school.
Of course there is no exact order but each of these parts add to the
sell.
Brief Recap
Well every position that we want or do not want we need
selling for it. Remember we
covered how grades, branded schooling are needed. Before that we covered those things which link to networking
or social networking, which begets financial social networking and begets
marketing and becomes what I call networking social marketing finances. Well no matter how you refer to it, it
does have each of those aspects and they are all connected like a network or
network of computers.
Interview
Now the interviewing we are all familiar with that for
anyone that has gone to a company whether it is called a university or a
company for a job or career. Would
you rather have a job, a career, or a position? An interview is a pass or fail but you can get a surprise; it
being something extra you failed but get recommended for another position or
another position in another company and the same when you pass the
interview.

Conclusion
We have something like an automatic selling and interviewing
going on but we do not realize that it’s been on going since we are born. A friend recently pointed out to me
that as a baby we cry and we are selling.
I really had to give that idea that concept that perception that way of
thinking some serious thought and it took a little time to realize we are
selling something. Selling is
meant to fulfill a need or a want or you can call it a desire. Interview is a pass or fail and
fulfilling a need or water too.
Just as Selling is and it is a pass or fail and fulfilling a need or
want.
Remember we have heard this before one mans trash is another
mans treasure. What do you know
about anyone’s idea? Nothing. It will either be trash or treasure but
you do not know until you hear about it and learn it. Then make an informed decision and remember respect everyone
as people as friends and see them as pre friends or soon to be friends.
There is so many good friends in the world and so many good
ideas. Do listen to what they have to say and learn something first hand. Respect the friendship the relationship
and enjoy life.
